Dan Wessels is a Los Angeles-based music producer, composer, songwriter, and pianist. He is the music producer of the hit Netflix children’s series “Cocomelon Lane”, and his music has been performed Off-Broadway, at the Kennedy Center, the Sydney Opera House, the Edinburgh and Adelaide Fringe Festivals, and multiple international productions.

After graduating from Columbia College Chicago with a Bachelor of Music in Composition, Dan began his career composing and music directing for sketch and improv theater in Chicago’s legendary comedy scene before moving to Los Angeles in 2012. Since then, he’s worked on award-winning pilots and short films with writers, directors, and composers who have gone on to create for Netflix, NBC, HBO, SNL, Apple TV+, Adult Swim, and more.

Classically trained in piano and composition, and raised on rock, heavy metal, musical theater, and video game soundtracks, Dan’s music brings together the sophistication and precision of the classical world with the energy and vitality of contemporary pop music.
